Donna Maneva, Founder of Doma Cosmetics, a rising brand in the beauty industry, joined the Supply Bromley programme to strengthen her business strategy and unlock new market opportunities. With a particular focus on enhancing her digital presence and exploring expansion into the US market, Donna sought expert guidance to take her brand to the next level.

We spoke with Donna about her experience on the programme and the impact of the support she received from her adviser, Meera Govind.

What has your experience been with the Supply Bromley programme and the support from your adviser?

The support I’ve received from my business adviser, Meera Govind, has been incredibly valuable. It has boosted my confidence in growing the business and provided a sense of stability. I now feel assured that I’m receiving the right information to make informed decisions.

Having someone on your side offering guidance and encouragement has made a real difference. I’ve gained more from the programme than I initially expected. I’ve deepened my understanding of how to enhance my online presence through website development and social media, which has helped increase brand visibility.

How has the support helped your business?

The feedback and guidance I received through the programme have been instrumental in helping me move my business forward. Based on the advice provided, I successfully improved my website and transitioned to a new platform that better supports my brand’s needs.

Exploring the US market had long been a goal of mine, but it felt like unfamiliar territory. I lacked the insights and connections to confidently take that step. The programme, Meera introduced me to the right people who helped me understand the landscape and how to approach trading in the US. As a result, entering the US market now feels achievable. I’m actively exploring opportunities and currently in conversation with Walmart.

How has the support helped with business growth?

The support from the Supply Bromley programme has been instrumental in helping me take steps toward expanding my business. I’m now actively exploring opportunities in the US market, and I’ve recently onboarded a US-based partner who is assisting with PR and business development, helping me connect with the right people to grow internationally.

Currently, I work with a network of freelancers, which allows me to focus on specific tasks efficiently. This setup works well for now, but I’m aiming to hire permanent staff within the next 12 months as the business continues to grow.

As a Founder, having consistent 1-2-1 support has been crucial. The sessions with Meera have given me the confidence to make strategic changes that I might not have pursued otherwise. Her guidance has truly supported my role and helped me move the business forward.
